Hey all humans, aliens, cats or dogs!! I am so excited to start blogging. I have been wanting to for a while but was super busy all the time. I finally realized that in my life, I have to make the time lol! I will be writing about all different topics from being a stay at home mom to raising special need kids and everything in between and probably more. I hope to share some experiences that I have had in my life so that others will know that they are not alone plus I would love to share laughs along the way. Some experiences include being in foster care, childhood trauma, deaths of loved ones, marriage, kids, etc. I have been happily married for almost 15 years. My family and I reside in Kentucky but originally from Illinois. I was born and raised in Missouri (I know the show me state haha) We have 4 amazing kids, 19, 17, 15 and 9. No I'm not that old lol (people always seem to say that when I tell them how old my oldest is haha), I started having kids in high school. 2 of my kids are considered special needs and some days are harder than others. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom for the last 2 years. Before that I worked as CNA in nursing homes for 17 years. We just got a little dog. She's a chipin (Chihuahua and mini pin mix). Her name is Trixie and she will be a year old on the 18th. She just got spayed so she's not happy with me right now lol but she seems calmer (thankfully). I am a Christian and so thankful that Jesus gave me chance after chance to get it right and I still fail everyday. Once I figure out how to post pics, I will. Hope you all enjoy my blogs!!
