My First Blog

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Saturday morning. Right now my family is sleeping and my youngest is watching youtube. So I thought this would be the perfect time to publish my first blog before I start to get pulled in 100 different directions lol.

I really hope you enjoy my future posts. Some will be funny and some will be more serious but I hope everyone will have fun along the way.

I have always loved reading and writing. When I was a child, I would read and write to escape for a while and thankfully I do it now because I truly enjoy it and not to escape reality.

I am starting on my first book and I am so excited to see it published. Once that happens I will post a link to it probably through amazon.

I have 4 amazing kids (19, 17, 15 and 9). Only 1 girl so my house is very exciting most days to say the least. My 19 year old is getting ready to join the army. He has some things to work towards first but he’s determined so I know he will accomplish what he sets his mind too. It scares the crap out of me but my husband and I will support him every step of the way.

My daughter is going into her senior year of high school. When I look at her, I still see a messy hair, dirty face little girl with big green eyes. She can hold her own to any boy thanks to her brothers lol so I know she will be fine when she goes off to college but still scares me.

My 3rd amazing child is going into high school this year. I know he will be fine but it amazes me how much he has matured in just 2 short years. I should write a book on all his antics he’s pulled over the years haha.

My 4th and last little boy is going into the 4th grade. He has anxiety really bad so every year he gets scared like really scared about a new school year but the other day, his little freckled face looked at me and said “Momma I am so excited about the 4th grade, I’m not even scared”. I am so proud of him and all of my kids. Now hopefully school will start like any normal school year but with this virus, it’s not looking promising.

My husband and I have been married for almost 15 years. I was a single parent of my older 2 when I met him. He has been amazing through everything and no one can tell that he is even a step parent unless they start doing the math, then we have to tell them lol. I am 4 years older than him, when I got pg with my oldest I was in high school and my husband would have been in jr. High so yea we explain real fast lol.

Two of my kids are considered special needs. I say considered because they are label in the schools and county as such but to me they are very unique and eccentric children that God himself picked out for me to raise.

That’s enough about me, I could ramble on forever about my kids and husband but I won’t lol.

In my blogs, I will mainly talk about life, family, struggles and anything else that I decide. I will try to stay away from politics and the worlds antics. I don’t follow politics for my own personal reasons and the world well my belief system is different than most. I want this to be a place where people can come together and discuss their opinions without being judged. There is enough judging coming from the world.

I guess that’s it for now.
